Exciting Tour of bGlobal Sourcing!
Last year we had a great tour to cox’s bazaar. It was our official tour basically but we had enjoyed a lot. I never imagined that a short tour like this could give us that much pleasure. We started for cox’s bazaar at near about 9:30 PM. We hired a bus which started its journey from in front of our office. We were approx. 15 guys including our CEO. When we got in the bus, our CEO handed out a piece of paper which describes what we are going to do in this tour. Of course most of the things were related to official matters so we got a bit hurt. But when the bus started its journey we were so much delighted and some of our guys started singing.
We reached comilla at 1:00 AM morning. We were so hungry so we stopped in front of a hotel. Then we take some food and then after an hour we started again. Everybody was so excited that there was non stop singing going on. Then at 4’o clock we reached at chittagong. The streets of chittagong seems fall asleep then. After 2 hrs from chittagong, we finally reached at cox’s bazaar. We got down from the bus at 6:00 AM in the morning and we all felt so tired. We entered to the hotel. Everybody then went to their respective rooms and its was ordered that we have an official meeting at 11:00 AM in the conference room, so everyone should be there. That’s a bit painful for us. At 8:00 AM when everyone was taking rest, me and one of my friends went to the beach. That was a pleasant scenery to watch. The sea seemed a bit harsh that time and there was so many people playing, walking and get wet in the sea. Someone also took bath in the sea. We were there for an hour and then we returned to the hotel and went to sleep.
At 11:00 AM, we went to the conference room where everyone was waiting for the meeting to start. The meeting started and as usual our CEO started talking. Our meeting took 5 hrs to complete. Between the meeting we took part in a competition where we formed a number of groups and made a presentation about how we improve our quality and all that stuffs. That was so exciting and our CEO announced to give 5,000 taka to the winning group. The most remarkable thing for me is that my group was the winner and we got 5,000 taka. After the meeting we all went to the sea beach where a nice game was waiting for us. It’s a orange hunt game. One of our office stuff buried some oranges to the sands and all of our groups had to find out the oranges. The maximum number of orange dig out group will be the winner and my group got that honor. That was so exciting and enjoyable for us.
We had a dinner party at night. Our CEO hand out the 10,000 taka cash and we all were so happy. We had a great dinner that night
The next morning we have our own time. So we took our breakfast and went to the Burmese market for some shopping. We have bought many things including dry fish. Then at afternoon we all went to the beach and we had a great fun there. The sea is really beautiful. We were really feel proud to have the largest sea beach in the world. We then took bath in a swimming pool there and get back to the hotel coz we had to start for Dhaka that day. We took our lunch and got ready for the bus. At 6:00 PM evening, we left cox’s bazaar. It was really an amazing journey for us. Though it was too short, but after all it was very pleasant for us
